24 kms from Palakkad, Kanjirapuzha (River Kanjira) is a magnificent lake. An evergreen forest, the 'Vettilachola', provides the backdrop to the lake, surrounded by hillocks. During the rainy season, the mist-draped mountains create a picturesque landscape.
